Itās expected to run on Samsungās Exynos 2400 chip, which is slightly improved over the previous Exynos 2400e found in the Galaxy S24 FE. One noticeable downgrade is the batteryāsmaller than the 4,700 mAh unit in the Galaxy S24 FE. Many fans might find this confusing, especially considering how competitive battery life has become in recent years. Itās unclear why Samsung opted to go smaller here.
During the Q2 2025 earnings call, Daniel Araujo, VP of Samsungās Mobile Experience division, confirmed that the Galaxy S25 FE will debut sooner than its predecessor.
While last yearās S24 FE came out in late September, the new model is expected to land as early as August or early September 2025. If this happens, Samsung might get a head start over competitors launching their fall flagships.
