Dharmendra, a veteran Bollywood actor who is often called the “He-Man of Indian cinema,” has been working in the business for more than 60 years and is admired by people of all ages. As he nears his 90th birthday, fans were recently left concerned when reports surfaced that the actor had been admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital.
Initially, sources stated that Dharmendra was hospitalised for a routine check-up after experiencing mild discomfort. But soon after, a lot of fake news stories started going around online saying that the actor was on a respirator and, even worse, that he had died.
Fans were shocked when these claims spread online so quickly. Luckily, checks of the facts have shown that all of these stories are not true. Dharmendra is very much alive and recovering under medical supervision.
His family members have strongly refuted the false reports. Hema Malini, expressing her disappointment on X (formerly Twitter), wrote, “What is happening is unforgivable! How can responsible channels spread false news about a person who is recovering? Please respect our family’s privacy.”
His daughter Esha Deol also shared a statement on Instagram, assuring fans that her father is stable: “The media seems to be in overdrive and spreading false news. My father is stable and recovering. We request privacy. Thank you for your prayers.”
Sources close to the family mentioned that Dharmendra had been admitted on October 31, 2025, and was never put on a ventilator. He remains under observation by senior cardiologist Dr. Dev Pahlajani, and his health is said to be getting better.
Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Ameesha Patel are some of the Bollywood stars who have visited the experienced actor in the hospital to see how he is doing. Fans have also sent him a lot of prayers and sweet words on social media, hoping he gets better quickly.
Right now, Dharmendra’s health is solid, and the treatment is working well for him. The family is still asking for privacy and wants everyone to stop sharing false information.
Millions of people are still inspired by Dharmendra’s amazing career and lasting charm, and fans all over the world can’t wait for him to get back home soon, healthy and happy again.
